Goodbye 2010 I hope 2011 works better

Happy New Year, I hope 2011 is better than 2010 for everyone. Fingers, eyes, and toes crossed for 2011 ;-) ;-)

We never have any guarantees obviously, but you can have hope even when you think it is over. This year I will push harder in given areas of fitness, music, and disciplined practice. My resolution this time is stay on course and add a few incremental improvements, some course correction I guess. I'm not doing that badly for the moment, but I want to move forward a bit more. The journey counts, but sometimes you want to add good stuff as fast as you can. ;-) Be careful of course to not burn out and then pave the road to hell with the typical party line and good intentions.

All of these are generally mental and emotional gymnastics that are internally derived from our perceived reality. So we tweak our view point a little closer to the truth and try to see things as close as we can to what they truly are, instead of what we think we see. That is a tall order, but hey, you need to start somewhere and hopefully land close to what we're hoping for.

Here is where the hope thing kicks in. Hope for the best and then work yourself reasonably hard to move forward, yeah that's it for now. Of course I will write more and keep you posted if you are reading these thoughts. I will try to get a readership going for the future, that depends upon my networking and my stamina of course ;-).

Onward and upward to everyone I know or will know going forward from this point, I will see you all soon I am certain, one way or another ;-) Happy 2011!

Year-end 2010

I have a dear friend that is leaving me in January. I will miss you Josh! :-(

So now I am teaching some great kids guitar at the Chinese school, how cool is that? ;-)

That was a great gig. ;-)

2011 I will be really cranking things from outside of the box. So for right now: I will be working a lot on everything. ;-)

To all friends Happy holidays whatever and wherever you celebrate ;-)
