Point Pelee National Park

At the edge of Canada at Point Pelee National Park

Another Fun Ride

Well, it looks like we are still in commission at GM in Pontiac for the moment. They are through with the Chapter 11. I guess we will now see if we have more of the same thing in a smaller model or maybe a progressive thing with a truly beneficial vision. I am a skeptical optimist with these people and will remain open, but I also remember how Chrysler took a nose-dive and then repeated it again.

I guess it is difficult for me to trust any large beaurocratic structure, but we are all ultimately dependent upon one kind or another. Ultimately I would like to break free from them, but outside of creating your own structures, the only other way is to pass on or not participate. These are not viable options for me, so I have to maintain an even strain and see what parts work and what parts don't, then align myself accordingly.

It is difficult to trust an environment so hostile to age categories. The minimums are dropping and the longevity is increasing. I hope somewhere a balance emerges. Until then I am exercising and following Jack Lallane's philosophy as mush as possible.
