Japanese Inspiration

I have just become very excited and inspired by a sight I recently experienced from Japan. Some serious energy is coming soon...

But until then, The time change for Spring forward feels a lot like Jet lag for me. Man I need to shake it off this week...

Stay tuned...

Happy New Year 2010

Happy New Year for 2010.

2009 was way too rough for me and many people I am close to. Make this one a good one or else!

Forward we go with no guarantees and only educated guesses as well as what we think are calculated risks? Risk Manaement with shaky ground? Maybe... Maybe not...

New Note to Myself...

I know what I will do for this year: Finally focus on completeness with the songs I have finally finished. I have been banging away at these things for two years and I am finally going to start recording full tracks. This year I am going to post as many recorded songs as I can from my home studio.I will put a few on MySpace and then maybe try the iTunes route if I get further along.

I also want more students!!!

Lifting My Head Up To Look Around

Wow, what a year. I think I will ask for a better one next year for Christmas. ;-) Hopefully things will even out soon. It gets tiring to go through endless firefights every day. I am looking around for other options lately, maybe something will present itself.

The difficulty is staying grounded enough to make the right choices each day. I read something wise the other day at a Chinese Buffet actually ... The future comes one day at a time. A reinforcer to the one first step beginning a thousand miles theory perhaps? Sometimes you would like a few steps with peace and quiet... ;-)

There is the other side: What fun would it all be without a few challenges here and there? OK the cup is half full for the remainder of this year and next. I will keep you posted. If you read this feel free to send me a note. ;-)

Point Pelee National Park

At the edge of Canada at Point Pelee National Park

Another Fun Ride

Well, it looks like we are still in commission at GM in Pontiac for the moment. They are through with the Chapter 11. I guess we will now see if we have more of the same thing in a smaller model or maybe a progressive thing with a truly beneficial vision. I am a skeptical optimist with these people and will remain open, but I also remember how Chrysler took a nose-dive and then repeated it again.

I guess it is difficult for me to trust any large beaurocratic structure, but we are all ultimately dependent upon one kind or another. Ultimately I would like to break free from them, but outside of creating your own structures, the only other way is to pass on or not participate. These are not viable options for me, so I have to maintain an even strain and see what parts work and what parts don't, then align myself accordingly.

It is difficult to trust an environment so hostile to age categories. The minimums are dropping and the longevity is increasing. I hope somewhere a balance emerges. Until then I am exercising and following Jack Lallane's philosophy as mush as possible.
